Oy! Me too!

(from Ohio and planning to get a Tamaskan, that is)

I'm looking forward to getting one once I'm out of school (currently in my junior year) and set with a residence fit proper for a canine companion :). Reckon it'll be a few years for me as well... I'm with you K, much too long a wait!

I hope when I'm ready to get one, it can be from Tarheel... I'm really impressed with this kennel, and their dogs looks amazing.

(Bannows, if you're reading this, you guys have a great website and beautiful dogs! Three cheers!!)

More pictures! The breed is just beautiful. I would love to have one almost identical to tundra.

I too have a long wait ahead of me. I am just now finishing my A.A. degree so I have around (2 for bachelors, 4 grad, and 4+ for residency?) 10+ years to wait....plus I'd want to have a nice home to bring a pup to before I get him/her.

I am very glad I was redirected here but someone, turns out I was looking at a false site prior.

Beautiful dogs!

Hello from Mass!  My husband has been to your kennel and has nothing but great things to say about you and the dogs.  Can't wait to have a Tamaskan some day!

Greetings from Upstate New York!

Just recently got out of school and started working. Hoping to get a Tamaskan in the near future.

I got a chance to work with sled dogs in NY through one of my professors and have been searching for the right kind of Northern breed for myself. I am blown away by the Tamaskans.

By the way, very nice website!

Heya! I'm Ashley, and I'm from Memphis. I got interested in Tamaskans a few years ago, and bought a house with a large backyard with the intention of purchasing a few of these gorgeous dogs.

I'm busily refreshing myself on the breed, now, and taking a look at the different breeders. Tarheel definitely has some gorgeous Tamaskans!

I absolutely love these dogs! In a few years I'd love to get back into dog breeding and breed tamaskans.  Are your dogs closely related to the other NTCA registered breeders??? Love your dogs! They are beautiful!

There seem to be several Ohio hopefuls here!

I am also from Ohio and looking forward to bringing home my Tamaskan from Double J kennels this winter. Judy mentioned a possible Tarheel candidate for sire. I hope so. I like the idea of a dog half yankee and half rebel!

LOL!

Just wanted to say how sickened I was to see the local TV news this evening and the story of your beautiful dogs having been poisoned.  I am SO glad they received medical attention in time for a full recovery!!  I had never heard of this breed until seeing them today on TV and have been reading about them since.  I'm very interested in learning more about them especially their abilities in search & rescue.
