We chose the name "Tarheel" because we are located in North Carolina the "Tarheel State". We are not affiliated with the University of North Carolina (UNC) or any other college or university.
We are members of the National Tamaskan Club of America (NTCA) and are registered breeders through The Tamaskan Dog Registry (TDR).
We are committed to the continued growth and excellence of the Tamaskan Dog breed in the USA. Our goal is to gain AKC, UKC recognition in the future.
